Fast Class / Tire Psi

What air pressure do they run in the bias tires in fast class racing

Depends on the car, but most start out at around 40 PSI. Best way to find out is to look at the contact patch after a small burnout. If it is dark in the center and light on the outside of the tread, you have too much pressure. If it is dark on the outsides and light in the center, the tire has too little pressure and is actually buckling up in the center. I have GoodYear Eagle GTII's on my car and run 36 PSI in mine. Lays down an even dark patch across the tread width.

It will also depend on hot/cold...my tires go from roughly 41-ish psi cold (start of day) to around 46 psi post burnout/run...

Have gone as low as 12-14 psi (trying to get some sidewall flex), I'm usually at 26-32, that's with my light in the ass, heavy in the nose, hemi challenger. I am NOT the 60' king.

Used to run 45, now run 40. Like a little bit of spin to avoid the small block bog. Noticed, thugh, that driving on the street with the higher pressures is really wearing down the center rib quickly on both rear tires.
