NOVA Pinion angle?

Does anyone know what the stock pinion angle is on a 68-72 nova?

what i am looking for is the angle of the differential’s pinion in relation to the driveshaft. I have installed a proshifted tremec tko 600 and it has a slight vibe on decel.

Re: NOVA Pinion angle?

I have used 1.5 degrees to 2.0 degrees on the pinion angle for a lowered 1969 Camaro and it worked for this problem. I had another problem with vibration and hard shifting in reverse that was an alignment issue that was created by the bell housing making the input shaft bind up at the back of the crank. I have heard this is real critical with the Tremec transmission. In fact did you have the vibration before you installed the new trans?

Thanks for the help. It started this vibration after the tremec install.I checked to see if the input was binding it was ok.
