This is probably a bit late, but I'll toss it out there anyway.

I have an '87 Iroc that was stolen and sat for nearly 5 years, when I got to it, the car was sitting on 3 flats and had a doa...

Re: 68 Camaro - burn victim

I had a '69 that was a burn victim. It had sat out after being burned. The best advice is to neutralize the acids that form as a result of the fire. They pretty much ate the interior metal. The...

Re: Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly

Per the article, there may be a Yenko Deuce in there too... He evidently swapped out big blocks during the gas crunch, most of the BBC's are evidently Corvette engines, freshly rebuilt and then...

Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly

Probably old news here but I didn't see anything on it (sorry I mostly lurk) but this would have been a neat find!

Evidently a Donald Schlag hoarded cars and GM...

Re: Backyard finds today

Mine was a '69 Firebird. Original owner parked in 1976 because of a bad starter. Carefully kept it tarped outside which caused the vinyl to stay damp and eat the roof. Second owner bought it from...

Re: Day 2 Modifications.

A 255/60/R15 will fit nicely in the rear wheelwells (I've even had them in front, depending on the backspace and the front spring height etc...) 275/60/R15's will fit if you want to go wider, but...

Re: ? about Day 2 mods...

I'm looking at a car that has basically the same options (except interior color and some minor differences). I'm gonna keep the vinyl top this time, delete the RS option (for a visual difference and...

Re: recovering plastic panels with vinyl

I'm going to assume this is for your 1976(?) Camaro right? I'm a huge 2nd gen freak.... These panels aren't hard to find esp the '75-81 ones ('70-74 upper sails are getting difficult). Donor cars...

Re: Yenkos on Ebay

To put it in perspective, I have a '72 SS. It was missing: engine, trans, rear, entire brake system (well, it did have the brake pedal) It was dented, damaged (sideswiped from front fender to...

Re: '70 Camaro "Day 2"

I missed the engine emblems, gotta get some new glasses /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif I've been asked to leave when toting a camera, twice, by dogs. Although the rat terriers really didn't...

Re: '70 Camaro "Day 2"

I'd also say the cig lighter was a 71-74 unit ('70 had the black knob with a chrome surround) defintely a 71-72 wheel (or at least horn button) and 71-74 seats. It also doesn't appear to have the...

Re: Unusual Dog Dish?

I usually find OEM "style" caps without any markings on vintage RV's and travel trailers. I dunno if they were factory or just a cheap way to match the tow car/truck's caps.

Re: Starting procedures for stored camaro......

Well, I had a '71 that had been sitting for nearly 20 years because of a "bad" engine. It turned out to be a seized starter...

Anyway, all I did was change the oil (and the starter)
drop on a...
