I believe frame rot was seen on many 69 Impala, Belaire, Biscayne models. I owned a 69 Belaire many years back and the frame broke and rusted out bad under the rocker frame area of the car. My frame rotted out on the rear part of the frame where the tail pipe exited the car and also the frame rails behind the rockers. I had a welding machine business weld some straight T channel to hold it together until it let go in the back of the car. Heard others say it was a problem of course in the winter States where snow and salt was common.
