Default relocated my friends 65 convert to my garage :)

Just got my friends car (65 malibu ss convert) over to my garage last night, as I am pondering buying it, and plan to inspect it closer.
Car has every freaking power option on it, with a build card.
It has a power top, power steering, power brakes, power bucket (one of 23 made), console, tilt wheel, rear seat belts (another rare option), 4 season airconditioning, and AM/FM.
I noticed it has a huge harrison radiator and a 7 blade fan. It also has a trans cooler infront of the radiator. 42 amp alt (with deep grove pulley).
dual exhaust 327.

I dont think it has its original engine, but plan to expect it really close for casting dates over the weekend. It even has the factory 12 bolt rear end. I know they probably never made an L79 with an auto and air, but I have to wonder about this car.

It has 'custom' badges under the chevy logo on the interior door panels (like from a 65 chevy truck), and I looked at those very very close, and would say they are factory installed when the car was made. The average joe could not have installedd them as good as they are installed. No one I know has ever seen this before (very cool) on a 65 chevelle/malibu.
car is a very tempting purchase.
thought I would share the rarity of a cool car with being loaded with every option (including some rare ones). It begs to be a L79
