DELCO FAN BLOWER MOTOR STAMPING DECODE?

Need help decoding the stamping on what I believe to be the original Delco fan blower motor found on my '70.

The code stamped is "788 9 A 293 3". Is this a date code or some sort of internal plant batch code? [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/confused.gif[/img]
