I worked with JJ Shaheen, who was related to the dealership family, on the program launch team with truck.

Not sure how I got the thumbs down there; please disregard.

I'm using my Stupidphone (tm).

I stored the Chevelle hood in one of my barns and it had surface rust everywhere on both sides.

That pad is remarkably clean. If I keep any of my Corvettes at home (as opposed to my climate controlled building), they get some surface rust on the pad just from the humidity and temp changes in Chicago. The rest of that rust looks like typical Midwest garage rust. I don't think the car has been in a flood. That said, the birdcage is probably rusty.

Yes, I agree the Birdcage is probably Rusty, and if that is the case, in my opinion, one would be upside down in a heartbeat bringing this low optioned LT-1 back to NCRS or Bloomington Gold specifications if that was one's goal. A driver, maybe not depending on how far one would go. Not me that's for sure. Cool colors and car though. Bill

Wow, you guys are tough. I didn’t look
At the listing before reading the posts. The under hood looks pretty standard to me for a car that has sat for a time and I’m in California. Looks pretty good to me. The blotchy paint looks to be because someone rattle canned it. That was a mistake.
