I have an opportunity to buy a 58 Corvette. I am being told that it was a radio delete car and I'm assuming also a heater delete. The fellow who restored the Corvette unfortunately added a box under the dash to support an aftermarket radio and cut in the antenna.
My question is: Did a 1958 Corvette with heater and radio delete not have the center extension from the dash where the heater controls, radio and clock were installed or was this extension in place on all Corvettes and simply blocked off. Thanks for your help, Ed ![]()
