I think it's fake. The numbers and letters aren't even close to the picture I have of a real MN block. Compare the "T", "0" and especially the "M". They are also too straight and too deep plus as Rich stated, the broach marks suck. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/thumbsdown.gif[/img]

Kurt </div></div>In your known good "MN" block I notice that the "0" has straight sides with only the top and bottom edges being rounded off. In the eBay one, the entire number is rounded. As well, all the fonts appear just a little off without even considering the VIN date issue.
