Don't quote me on that, but I'm almost positive all Novas up til 70 used a throttle rod. I don't recall any, even the 4 and 6 cylinder cars having a cable until the 70 model production. 70 Yenko Deuce guys may be able to confirm this. I would sure be of interest in knowing this for sure.
