That's what I thought 4000 or so? Did Chevy ever release actual numbers or is it just speculation? Does anyone know of a good Chevelle sight?

3525 M/T CRV coded blocks were assembled.
1923 A/T CRR coded blocks were assembled. 4475 1970 LS-6 Chevelle/Elcaminos were sold by Chevrolet in 1970. That leaves 973 service engines sold OTC back then,this per Tonawanda records. |

Dan Carr has produced a poster with Chevelle production numbers on it. I don't know where the info came from but he has done a lot of research. I edited my original response to reflect the actual number Dan says were built.
