Thanks Bill and everyone. The world record is 17 years and Pepper came close. She could have made it I am sure but she had bad hip dysplasia and could not walk. We were having to carry her outside every 2-3 hours to relieve herself. I know that she was uncomfortable. She slept at our feet and we were not getting much sleep over the last 6 months. It was love that kept her going on both sides.
