Default Re: Addicted to Drag Racing

I asked my wife if she wanted to go to Canada with me this summer--- busted, there is a race up there!!

I DO have my best time slip in my pocket.

My neighborhood knows that when the third car garage door goes up, to hide the kids!!!

I have often measured a burnout in my eye and stated that they needed to drop some air pressure out of the tire or that they need to work on the hook!!!

I have often wondered if there is a Hurst shifter available for the Montego!

You are showing your age if you are talking about Connie and Shirley.... think Ashley and Britney!!!

You have wanted to move to the country so that you have less neighbors and can store fuel in a bulk tank!

Your idea of a great home would be a 60'x100' steel building with living quarters in one corner of the building.

You have timed yourself on how quick you can get a repair done... then compare it to the 70 other times you have had to do that repair...... and hope you can get it donw before a call to the lanes.

You take your helmet with you to a race just in case..... and you do end up in a ride!! (PSMCDR '07)

The Coker's are really nice folks. I got to meet them at the Nostlagia event at KC last year.

And Bob Coker takes some great photos at those events. If you scroll through (pages 18, 22 and 25) you'll see some familiar cars.

I know I'm addicted to drag racing because.....

I plow Shirley's driveway, and I'm always concerned whether my '89 W250 Dodge is gonna get a good 60 foot with an 8' plow on the front and a 360 under the hood.

By the way, her house is FOR SALE !!
