New 500+ HP Stang that is out should fix the HP problem with the current GM LS3- that is if GM has the money to play on the same field as Ford, we will see

Phil - I forgot to tell you - GM is considering additional stripe packages for the 5th gen. I've been told these LS3 engines are getting 480hp with only the GMPP hotcam and free flowing exhaust installed. Add a Paxton and you'll be hauling and still have plenty of money left in your pocket compared to buying a 500 hp Mustang.

Yea I know, JF told me about it in the first week of January. We will see.

I had the opportunity to drive the base and SS models at Bondurant in Phoenix in mid January. We drove 6 speed as well as automatic versions of both cars. The base seemed just like a car. I liked the SS and have a convertible on order. I like the idea of a drop top that is more roomy and comfortable with good performance as an alternative to my c6. The performance was good, but if I were goin racin for pink slips I would take my c6. After testing the camaros Bob Bondurant took each of us on hot laps in the ZR1. Now that is a performance car!!!!! I guess I am getting old, but I preferred the automatic over the 6 speed.

These cars should have been out over a year ago and they wouldnt be in this mess
From the dealers to the mod builders to the aftermarket people and so on !! This car would have been making money for a lot of people in the business.. Still cant figure out why it is still taking this long.. Pull all your sources months ago and build them.

From the sound of that video the exhaust sounds like crap, kinda like a corn popper. I guess after you buy the car have to spend more $$ and get a custom exhaust put on it?
I personally dont think what GM puts out on the street looks all that great I think its ugly. I might have a different say when Nickey gets one and makes it into a real car that has yet to be seen.

It sounded like a Mopar starting up. Why does the starter sound like that?
