I do not understand you guys.

The car looks great in its original configuration!!! BUT, it looks GREAT with its minor modifications as well.

There is nothing done to the car that can not be turned back within a half days work.

I think it is cool, i'd like to do something similar to my STRICTLY original Lašlonde Olds delivered COPO too, you get bored seeing it over the time, so either i have to ship it back to the states, and trade it for something else, or do something like this..

COOL Stefano..

Nils

I'm with Sam and Nils. I like the COPO both ways. It's an accurate day two representation of what you could have ordered right off the showroom floor back in 1969.

It also serves to help promote our 2010 Nickey Super Camaro project.

I like it better the modified way. I would not be surprised if they carefully attached those emblems and possible even stripes so it could be changed back to stock in a few hours.

This car looks cool now AND this car looked cool before. The Nickey group and Bob presented this C.O.P.O. perfectly! I was at the Performance World Car Show in Toronto this past weekend. At first I was somewhat sceptical of the project, but trust me, the boys at Nickey did it up right.

In their display they made no bones about what they did. They proudly displayed the true origin of this Camaro, being a Canadian Belmont Chev Olds car while presenting the G M of Canada documentation. But you have to hand it to them, the car now takes on a unique personatity in it's new form.

Great work.....I think it is bitchin!

That looks killer !! At some point I wouldn't mind doing something similar with my car. You could do the strip in vinyl and any added emblems with dual stick so a quick trip back to original is simple.... a real easy way to switch it up a bit and give the car that day two look without sacrificing the originality of the car. SWEET !

It's what we do on the race cars.. makes it easier to repair after any unfortunate incidents.. my Coca~Cola Sebring 12 hour winning 962 gets up to about 210 MPH and it all stays put so I figured it would work just fine

Thanks Bruce, Van has some cool toys indeed!

btw We do use two sided tape for the emblems, as well as Vinyl for the Stripes. As noted by other members, easily removable and reversible back to stock configuration.
