Vic will get booed right out of Philly. He will never get a chance to try a cheesesteak especially in South Philly. He will be running for cover!

Seems to fit.

My definition of insanity: Do the same thing but expect a different result. This applies to the Cubs for the last 100 years. BTW, deep down I still would like to see them win but I know that it will never happen unless drastic changes are made.

The Cubs are losing, and we Chicago fans are supposed to be surprised?

Chicago isn't watered down. We won the World Series a few years ago, we were in the Super Bowl a few years ago, the Bulls make to the playoffs quite often, the Blackhawks are doing well. Hey, we're not Boston, but we're doing better than most other cities.

The Cubs aren't losers, they're just in a 100 year slump.

Fans continually trek to Wrigley Field & pay top dollar, year after year after year after year after year to fill the stands and watch them lose.

Why should the Cubs organization even consider hiring a winning team?

[/ QUOTE ] Exactly right! As long as this keeps happening things will stay the same. Remember Wrigley Field is just a giant bar. Most of the people are not even watching the game anyhow, they're too busy texting and talking on their cell phones or getting drunk.

Exactly what I've been saying for many years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
