The black car is what may have started the conversation. Certainly it was there at the event, although we all knew the difference between an Impala SS with a 427 (it's an original 396 car, BTW) and an SS427. There was a white ragtop that used to run the event.
The other guy who was involved in this discussion is not a Chevy guy, although he is the owner of a '70 Laurentian with a 454.
