For REAL buyers that attend the auction with intentions of buying they usually have all the info they need to make a decision. OTOH, there are also a good number of cars there with nothing other than the window card and no seller around you can identify to ask. Sometimes this is because the car may have questions the seller doesn't WANT to answer, sometimes a dealer with many cars there and is also buying many cars and has no time for it, and sometimes it is just inexperience of the seller.

Very true.

And a lot of the informatiom and description about some of the cars are completely false.

B/J only goes off of what the seller says and states about the car.

You still have to be careful!!

We sold a couple of cars at BJ last year and my boss is a BIG spender with them over the last few years. Even though we were sure 99% sure on the authenticity of a 68 396 SS Impala convertible that came from a well known collector a few years ago, they would not allow us to list it as a SS in there info. as we did not have any doc.s or positive proof.They have changed their attitude in the last year of so and even have Kevin Marti on hand at times cking out the Fords.Maybe other experts wandering around cking as well.Tired of law suits and complaints I would guess.

Kayo is a good guy, and friends with Dick Bridges who also knows his cars. Roy, I am sure if you find Kayo at the auction and ask him questions he will be happy to answer them. I have no relationship to the car or the seller, but have dealt with him in the past and been pleased.
