I saw that too, its an anniversary edition and the logo is centered instead of being on the left side. It also reads "40 years of ignition on the front. Having new guts in an old box would be cool though

Lifetime warranty on these limited edition boxes!

My experience with my old 1970's 7A box (not a 7AL) is that it works. All of the old MSD units I've had from the 70's work. There are numerous stories about the 6al boxes failing on people, and I beleive that is why they are using the lifetime warranty spin here. I think the older boxes were built better, at a time when MSD was earning its reputation.

As for the magazine blurb about sending out the old boxes...Well I think MSD as a big advertizer would not have been happy if they promoted the product in a way which would put a negative spin on the current offering.

I bought this a few years ago but have sold it now. I saw them advertised for VW's and American cars somewhere.

Mine are the oval type. This is a few weeks ago having the header flanges welded to the pipes. I guess I ought to make a note to finish the job on my brake lines... Out of sight out of mind....

I am looking to put crager S/S on my 69 camaro. The quarters and wheel house are not cut, so what size of rear wheel with what offset does everyone normally run? What looks better also, 14" or 15".

Theese are 15x8 in the back with 15x7 in the front. I have no problem with tire clearance.
