I am sure his letter was in response to a letter written to him as I can't imagine anyone telling a prospective customer "You Lose." Regardless, it was also nice of him to let him in on a tuning secret about the jet sizes and locations, timing, etc. ![]()

Seems like it may have been a friendly wager on what a customer though was a price for a 396 camaro or what the specs were etc... thus you lose the 396 is cheaper or less hp.
