What is the MCACN doing with what you called "day two concours" thrust.My lime green 71 Z has been preserved in day two form since the mid 70's.L88 hood, big block,Ansen slots and a dana 60 w/4.33's. 16,354 miles with all original paint except for the hood.

Jeffrey - your '71 Z looks great. The day-two concours judging at MCACN is for restored cars with period correct day-two speed parts. But, your car would be a BIG hit at MCACN just as it is. Really love that Blue Yenko Duece. I use to own a blue Duece from Wallace Chevrolet in Linden NJ.Like I put in my previous replies to who ever is interested I still have the 3 emblems,water pump,the fan, starter, and hood tach from my car. [email protected]

On the spec page for the HMM article I used Pete Simpson's most recent results (Pure Stock) at the race track for the quarter-mile performance.

Are those header mufflers.they are cool...but watch you're angle ground clearance.......almost damaged my headers on the street..and had to make some adjustments...

Appreciate it Joe. Those are Cherry Bombs (Roof's originals). That is the angle that the headers (Cyclones) gave me. I hang them off the front rear-spring perch. The pipes exit the car about 6 to 8 inches off of the deck. Railroad crossing jumps will have to be done a bit gingerly!!
