Subframe Queastion for the Experts.....

If *I* were undertaking the task you described, *I* would get one of each and also would know that all 2nd gen subframes are NOT the same, I think it is 70-73, 74, 75 (?) and 76 (?, maybe 76 & 77) and up. I know that the rear crossmembers on the 2nd gens are different because the subframe is different.

I would do some in depth research and know EXACTLY the differences before I started out with your plans.

Thanks for the good advice! Control arms and such wont matter though because Im using all C6 Arms and knuckles. Will also be using a R&P steering. I want to make the frames the same or as close as possible....just maybe the body mounting points are differnt??

If I knew that the stock frames from each car would bolt up to each body. That would tell me a lot for now, then the jig from the front of the control arms rearward would be the same.
