Default Need someone to decode Polyglas tire dates

Can someone decode the following dates from some Goodyear Polyglas tires that I have?

CDNBJADL
MBUFDLA231
MBUCDLA201

Thanks in advance!

#1 48th week of 1971
#2 23rd week of a year ending in 1 most likely 1981
#3 20th week of a year ending in 1 most likely 1981
Goodyear was switching their coding system in 1971 from 8 to 10 digits.

Thanks Freddy!

Just curious - these tires are a set of four (two E60 and two G60) that all appear to have the same minimal tread wear. In other words, they all look like they are the same age. Any chance the tires you say are 1981 could be 1971 instead, like the first one? Based on your decoding, only one of the four tires is from 1971, which seems odd.

They could be 1971. The two with 10 digit codes would have been made before the old style 8 digit code tires but I am sure Goodyear had several plants producing them and maybe not all of them switched codes at the same time?

The first sequence should be the same as '69 format, date then plant.
CDNBJADL
CD is 12th wk '71 and NB is Akron II plant.

The last 2 sequences should be plant designation first and then the last 3 numbers are week and year.
MBNFDLA231
MB should be Akron II plant and 23 1 should be 23rd week of '71.
That should be correct, I'm more familiar with the '68 &'69 codes though.

I wish I had some vintage Mopar muscle, but its not to be. I just picked these up at a swap meet, mounted on some old mags. They were apparently on an old Vette. The condition of these is outstanding.
