Love that Camaro, the Vette, and the Chevy II.

Cannot get enough of that Day 2 stuff.

Here's my Chevy II with the "poor boy street racer" look. Black steel wheels and chrome lugs. Lots of folks just pulled the caps for the "racer look" back in the mid-60s when they could not afford wheels. See the vintage '62 409 pic on page 2 of this thread.

It has a 327 under the hood and a Muncie 4-spd on the bench that will be replacing the Powerglide in a month or two.

I'm thinking I need a set of chrome reverse wheels and piecrusts on the rear.

Look's great the way it is,plus i would leave it stay a 4 spd.

Vintage Mallory Rev Pol transformer (coil) nos in the box. Neat piece. Every "day 2" car I ever remember used to have a Mallory Rev Pol ignition. I have never seen one of these NOS before. I currently have it listed on ebay.

I think he was saying it is currently a powerglide and it will be sporting a Muncie shortly. Nothing like rowing the boat!

Correct. Powerglide is Boring in a street car with the tall first gear, although highway on ramps can be fun when it kicks down into low at 40 mph. I fully expect it will be a whole different car once I get the M20 installed. It's in pieces now - Autogear case, GM 26-spline input, etc. Should be assembling and installing in the coming months as soon as I find time.

That is cool! Is it a real A&A glass scoop? Do you have any back story on it?
