It will find its way on there soon enough, but not just yet.

I still have testing to do in the current configuration before I can start swapping out major components.

Default Baby's got a new pair of shoes

FINALLY!

Thanks Rusty!

Patiently awaiting the arrival of a new pair of Wheel Vintiques 15X8 steelies (with custom backspacing) to mount them on--the current 15X7 steelies are a skoch too narrow for my tastes to mount L60's on, and I needed a bit more backspacing anyhow to tuck the tires under the quarters a little further thanks to the extra 1/2" width (on each side) of that `68 12 bolt rear.

Updated pics to come as soon as the new shoes are on and the front spring swap and final alignment are wrapped up.

FINALLY got the painted wheels back from Bodyguy today.

Wheels & tires *should be* mated tomorrow, then I'll schedule a trip to the alignment shop.

More soon...I hope.

FINALLY back with an update!

I took advantage of this unseasonably warm, sunny day today and got the ol' girl out to a local park for a few quick pics.

Got the Goodyear Polyglas L60's on the new 15X8 Wheel Vintiques steelies, and the fit is absolutely dead-nuts on! It's a pretty tight squeeze thanks to the new lower ride height in the back.

Next on the "to do" list is to fix the grill paint and get the grill SS emblem installed, get my new courtesy light kit installed, replace the door weatherstrips with new ones that will *hopefully* fit, and get an appointment scheduled a.s.a.p. with the alignment shop for the front coil spring swap and final alignment. Once that's done the engine will come back out for a serious underhood cleaning and re-detailing and the headers will be ceramic coated.

Oh yeah...it may wind up back on the dyno again for a few more tweaks.

So without further ado, I humbly submit the following for your perusal...

Oh yeah...the new lower stance and fresh tires on the back made a major difference in traction.

More soon, stay tuned!
