open face helmet
anybody know who makes the best open face helmet that looks a lot like the old days? and still be legal.

I would guess the best open face helmet isn't gonna look as "vintage" as you may want but Bell offers a decent one.

Eddie, the custom one I had at MCACN started out as a white Arai GP-Jet, which was, for me anyway, the best compromise between old school look and modern functionality. I looked at a lot of these given I was going to spend the dough to have it painted. The Bell Mag above also does a good job, but I wanted state of the art safety.

Depending on what you are trying to do, there still are some great Buco and other vintage helmets on ebay for a fair price.
One for shows and display and get a new one for when it matters. |
