Nice, I like those little touches in the trunk. Is that an 8 track player?

Very nice Bill - I love the color. Original white top car - I like it either way, but I don't see too many white VTs.

I found the stock tach hard to read Sam.Small and to the left.So I disconnected it and installed the bigger aftermarket one.I talked to the original owner of the Nova and he told me the original roof was black not white as per the G.M.Canada docs.

Thanks for the info. Cool that you were able to contact the original owner...any interesting racing stories? Interesting there was an apparent error w the Canadian docs!

Default Bill Lupiano's 1970 L78 Nova!

Hi Bruce,I bought the Nova on eBay Winter/'03.Took a month of phone calls back and forth before I decided to pull the trigger and send the money.A bit of a scary way to buy a car but I did my due diligence.

Since the Nova was sold new in Canada I was able to get G.M.Canada docs proving that it is an original L78 car.The person who sold me the car owned it since the late '70's so he was able to give me a lot of history on the car.Received a bunch of thick binders with all kinds of info and bills which I was very happy to receive. The car is a very solid no.2 in my humble opinion.

It is not totally original.I've done a bit of ''free-styling''on it to suit my tastes. The block and tranny are not original to the car.Now has 454 4 bolt main block with a B.W.Super T10.The body panels,H.P.square port heads,intake,12 bolt 3:55,gauges and am/8 track are original to the car.I've added N.O.S.dealer options like, tissue dispenser, bumper guards, vanity mirror,8 track tape holders and fire extinguisher. The nova is pretty pampered.I've only driven it about 800 miles in over 9 years. Is kept in a climate controlled garage.Just installed a new clutch about a month ago.

Last time it was done was the early '80's.There are a couple more things to do.Install the correct size brake booster and clean up the intake manifold.Hope you enjoy the pics.

Thanks,Bill.
