There were articles as early as 1971 for the street but SS lines I would say really started to be used on the street around 1977-1978..that is when there was ton of how two articles. Some cars used them before then but it was rare. Dan , it sometimes makes me feel like I was born a little too late! I would have loved to have been part of this era.

For anyone who was not old enough to remember these years you have no idea what you missed especially if you lived in one of the car mecca cities. I was in Minneapolis so we had exposure everywhere 7 nights a week. Give anything to go back to those days.
