He can not believe what a piece of crap it is. It has been off the road since 1978. The short block was not painted at the dealership. It has the wrong cam in it, the wrong size main bearings, mismatched rods and several other anomalies. I don't think a lot of time or effort went int their assembly.

I'm just as shocked that you have an engine builder 1000 miles away when my mechanic (best on Long Island) is about 4 miles from you...
