Yes, keep the L88 in it and have fun. Maybe Jim can chime in on the history of the car. </div></div>

So the original owner was Harry Mann's Grandson? Jim and I have been playing phone tag and have not had a chance to chat yet.

FWIW, the L88 is going to stay!

I thought the original Safest Rust Remover which he used performed better on the shower method. -Didn't foam as much as Evapo-rust which is a copy of SRR.

Hey Tim, can you take a video of the L88 running and maybe a few short revs? I'd love to hear that original L88 with headers...

Thanks,
Dan

Undercarriage is CLEAN! Get that goofy coil spring spacer out of there...it will cause the coil to snap eventually....

Remember to heat up the derusting liquid. The warmer it is, the better/faster it works. I used a waterproof aquarium heater and just plunked it down at the lowest point in the kiddie pool with a brick on it to keep it submerged.

I used Metal Rescue with a $10 Harbor Freight pump to swish the fluid around in the container I used to de-rust some rims. Worked great. Some great tricks here.
