Not going to watch any this year. Tired of the BS and hype. Yes Pratt has a nice collection, he has the money. There are other cars there other than his. And most of all its the Ford show because they sponsor it. How many times have you waited for a car to come up and they go to commercial. Or if a Ford is going at a low price Steve Davis steps in and opens his mouth. Tired of this nonsense. There are a few cars truly worth a million dollars and NONE of them are our beloved muscle cars. Sorry

Didn't that happen with the Super Snake in 2007? Bidding stalled in the 1.5 million area, Shelby told some stories and off it went?

Mike Joy may be a fantastic human being, but his blatant screw ups, on practically every car, are like nails on a chalkboard. You can almost hear Magnante's eyes roll.

Joy's not that bad. I thoroughly enjoy his commentary.

They jumped the shark a long time ago. Now I consider it an insult when someone calls a car, a "Barrett Jackson quality" car.

Yes, those inane comments drive me nuts. Like when they ramble on about how is it possible that a cross ram, JL8 Z/28 could possible go for only $50,000...as I am screaming at the TV: THAT"S BECAUSE IT'S A CLONE WITH NO REAL PAPERWORK AND A QUICKLY PAINT JOB THAT IS STILL WET....

I DVR the coverage and then fast forward through the crapola. I watched the 3 hour episodes an about 30 minutes.

You might say it's a little like the WWF of car auctions.

Just turn the sound off and look at the cars...that's what I do sometimes when I get tired of the hype. But on a good note, our favorite B-J guy S.Davis, has his own line of sunglasses.
