This car finally ended up with Phil G. and is now beautifully restored..

Nice chatting with you Alan. The parallels between the two Citrus Deuces are amazing.

Mine still had the Power Steering set up, when Jerry Janota bought the car in the 1980s.

Al got his day two Deuce running 11.20 ets as his everyday driver....!

Thanks...Great talking with you to Stefano !!! I will take you up on the ride soon... Yep my old car had several engines in it and the one combo that turned the 11:20's was a Denny Offerman build 331 small block with a Smokey Ram intake and all the right go fast goodies inside ..Was running open M/T super scavenger headers, slicks and a 4.56 gear. Car also had 2 350's , 1 327 , 1 302 and 1 big block 402..Most didn't last to long as most were just garage built motors..Funs times with a great car that at the time I knew nothing about its value just that it was sorta rare and different..At 19 yrs old just wanted a fast car !! Sold it and have regreted every minute and even tried to buy it back several times but never could get the right deal..
