What premium for a rust free body?

Unless you know the car or who did the work, a stripped car like this can be a good way to buy as you can see what you are getting and oversee the quality of the work. But, be prepared for some headaches and a lot of time. Most of my headaches are from having others do work, like paint, that I do not have experience and they never seem to listen or do as you ask, it seems has been my experience.
On the other hand, a car that is done or needs little, you can enjoy. As long as you know the car's history of what is under the shiny part, you are good to go. Many detailed restos have many pics of what was started with. Life is short! Decide if you enjoy driving and having fun or do you like to piddle around the shop always being asked by your buddies, "When is that thing going to be finished?"
