Here's my Autotrader ad in 1985. By the mid 80's, we were amazed at how fast our Camaros were rising in value. What were cheep cars, now were getting very expensive. Bought in 1978 for $750, I was asking top dollar for the RS. It did not sell then, but by 1989 I was asking $10,000. Unknown at the time, this Camaro was an LM-1 with factory 12 bolt and disc brakes:
