That &quot;L&quot; shaped home made bracket is the clutch spring attach point for a car with headers, did the exact same thing on my 69 Camaro L78 car when I installed the headers. And what you can not see in my picture is the piano wire extension rod I made and bent up to clear the header tube, the rod is much like what you see on a stock SBC application.
