Not a supercar, but you guys might like this. Dad was on a budget back in 1970, and he special ordered a very low-option Chevelle as his first new car. It was not a Malibu, just a base model. Being a "car guy", he wanted rally wheels as one of the very few options. Probably odd to see a low-option base model delivered with Rallys. Here it is in 1971-1972 after he blacked out the grille, "SS" style, added white letter tires, and SS wheel opening moldings.
I rode home from the hospital in this car when I was born in 1972.
