I understand that they can handle about 600 HP/TQ. If I were building a car I would put one in as I love the flexibility for street and strip use. IIRC it'll take 4.88s and reduce the ratio to approx 3.40 for easy highway cruising. You are going to have to cut a hole in the floor for the H.O.D. Shifter and there may be some holes required to accommodate the support bracket for the unit itself.

P.S. The site shown above for H.O.D. still only shows availability for Fords - no GM. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif[/img]
