While we had the fender on the passenger side loosened up to remove the antenna it was a good time to fix some cosmetic issues that have badgered us for a while. About 20 years ago Dad had new rust free doors installed (the rest of the car is remarkably rust free). When the shop painted them they got some overspray on the forward jamb pieces. A little light wire wheel and some mineral spirits made short work of the overspray. Since the passenger side now looked much better we decided to do the driver side as well. Now we are just waiting on the rebuilt antenna to return and hopefully we can enjoy this summer.
