There are options, they just cost 3 times the money. The price is appealing but the cheaper ones are only 3.75" back space as you mentioned.

Doesn't work on a chevelle if you want to put some tire under it. I run the torque thrusts on mine with 4.25" back space with a 275-60 tire and it fits under the car no problem with the back end sitting down.

Do you have a link to the wheels you’re talking about?

I've bought a couple of sets from "wheelsforless"

They don't list the other offsets on their site, I assume because the price scares off customers. But if you contact them, they do sell other offsets. At least that's how it was a couple years ago unless something has changed. Hope that helps.

Just went back and looked at my receipts. To give you an idea, the last set I bought, which also only showed 3.75" offset was $96 a piece from Wheelsforless. They are the classic Torque thrust just as pictured above. They offered to move the offset and the price was $310 a piece.

So more offset is offered (was last time I purchased) but the prices and offsets aren't listed on their site, have to call.

I’m guessing you have the custom order TTII wheels which are a 2-piece design with forged barrel. They don’t seem to offer them in 8.5” wide, but do offer them in 9”. They are considerably more @ 469/each.

Here is what AR offers for cast TT-D “off the shelf” wheels:

And here are the “custom” TTII sizes:
