yes it stripped it of all coatings..but id rather do it with that than "sand" blasting..

i use it on everything aluminum i want clean...its really impressive..and its not as harmfull as chlorinated cleaners ive used in the past...

as i age, im afraid of my parts washer fluid..and carb cleaner and brake cleaner...
