Nice score Helmut. What are they going on?

They’ll be going on my Monaco Orange ‘69 once I find some suitable vintage rubber. I test fitted these wheels (off my post sedan) and I really like the fit of the rear wheels and tires.

I FINALLY got time to have my vintage M&H Racemaster tires mounted to 15x8 Cragar wheels. These will be specifically for special car shows only.

Unfortunately, it’s VERY difficult to find straight lug wheels that are 15x8 with 4.25” backspace. So until I do find a set, I’ll have to use these unilug wheels. I do like these better than the new flat spoke Cragar wheels. Just my opinion.

On a side note, I cut the screws shorter so they wouldn’t damage the tires.

Kurt

Those look awesome Kurt. Of course I'm a big fan of M&H rubber if one can find a set. I mounted my Firestone 500's on a set of 8" Cragar's for the same purpose as you and love the look of them. I have Unilug rears as well but I don't think anyone really cares about the pattern...especially me. Didn't screw these rims but I'm alright with that as they're for show only.

Great look on rims and tires!

Don't think I posted these since mounting them up...so here are the Firestone's I got from Tony. Mounted them on the set of Cragar 8's that I got from Sam. No dry rot on the slicks but using these on my Nova for display purposes only.

Got these Mickey Thompsons mounted on a set of Cragars and on the car last night.

G70-15 rubber on 15x7" front wheels, and
L60-15 rubber on 15x8" rear wheels with a 4 1/8" backspace.

I couldn't be happier with the fit!

Those wheels and tires are pure sweetness. Are they tires old or new?
