If he has the protecto plate it would say what rear & trans it came with correct?

The M-22 was a 'solid lifter' engine only option...as for the rear gears, as others have pointed out, they didn't put 4.10 gears behind the 350/300 motor.
I would just ask him to prove his claims by sending or showing you the transmission and rear end stampings. The trans would have to have the VIN and the rear would have to be the correct date range. Of course paperwork or a POP would be nice... Please post the ad link so we can see this 'rare' car... -wilma
