You are correct Tim. What I SHOULD have said was: "at least a previous seller was up front about the block being decked."
If the current seller restamped it, ... well, that's a serious problem. At least we have enough to go on to know the trans and rear are not original. Are they NOW claiming the 4.10 rear is matching? 12 27 rear doesn't work in a late 69 built car.
