My 79 z28 was heavily Ziebarted. I took 90% of it off by hooking up my pressure washer to hot water and blasted it right off. I was surprised. Then I took ditzo 440 and the residue came of very easy to shiny paint and original primer. Car has 36,000 miles and looks brand new under where it was Ziebarted. It was on the tops of my fenders and fender wells. Lower rear valance and floorboards. Black specks of rustproofing was flying everywhere!!

I did the same thing on an 80 Z28 and a 76 TA I had. What a mess! But, it was well worth it!

My ‘65 GTO that came out of New Jersey has this mess under it.

Someday it may get removed.

Chris.
