Big update!
I've located pictures and talked with the person who found an original '72 C10 with the "Flame by Chevy" Mod Bod decals in place! I have not seen any pictures of a C10 with the flame decals from any brochures, or even vintage pictures. It is mentioned as an option in the brochures however! Apparently this truck has been owned by a retired GM body repair man since the 80's. He refuses to sell and supposedly has a complete set of NOS body panels tucked away in the garage. Too cool!
