31969 is the serial number.
CC0 is counter case or chevy case depending on who you talk to. The "0" after the CC is the year the case went into the replacement parts system. The CC and CT stamping started in 1968 (CC8 &CT8) and went thru to the end of Muncie production (CC4 &CT4) I have a large selection of NOS and nice used CC and CT cases and complete transmissions.
