Default Really intriguing ‘67 L88 replica on BaT

Real parts, gives off real vibes. #’s L79 drivetrain comes with it if that matters to you. I wish it wasn’t a #’s car so I wouldn’t feel compelled to keep it all:0. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...omments-anchor

----This guy did his homework and built a really neat ride. The real magnesium TTD's will set someone back $3500 and more just for starters! If everything is true, a bunch more money was spent than the present bid. My one miniscule little comment is that an original 67 L88 would have had a 427 emblem on the hood not an L88 decal. Hardly worth mentioning. I'd love to own this bad boy!!!.....Bill S

Cool car, Bill. I spoke with The owner when it was for sale once before and he was a nice fellow. It appears to have the original engine with it, it is an L79 .

It's an awesome build with lots of attention to detail. It was originally a maroon L79 car with power steering, brakes, 3.70 gear. It has been well-known on Corvette Forum for years. For the right price, someone is going to be extremely happy with the work done and the quality parts used in the build. The only demerit I would give it is the headlight and hood fit, which is one of my obsessions on these cars. The headlights look like they could be adjusted. Seems to be an original GM front end, so hopefully there isnt any major past damage driving the fit issues.

I think that’s one of Rex Turner’s cars.
