I did not know GM actually made the welded deep pan. I thought they were all homemade!
Did they make one for Chevelles? If so I guess I screwed up when I gave away the one that was on my 67 L78 Elcamino when I got it !!

Yes this oil pan was sold over the counter at GM dealerships i was told. I sold my complete package, oil pan, windage tray, oil pump with screen, and correct windage tray bolts and correct oil pump bolt. Bill Grump Jenkins used these pans in his drag Camaro. Also my complete oil pan package was never media blasted or cleaned with any shot. All natural finish.
