I stand corrected. Apologies...
With the vapor LEL of modern fuels It is an NFPA violation to even store gasolines anyplace in a room that has an active pilot light - and it is the vapor that burns not the actual gasoline. But why in the world use gasoline in a steamer when Kerosene would get the job done and was the preferred fuel for these cars anyway?
