Default '64 409/4-sp Impala

Not a bad looking car - needs some cosmetics and would be interesting to know which engine this one was born with. I wish we had Verne Frantz right about now....

What's amusing about this one is the seller seems to have created invoices to document the work he (dealership?) has done on the car. The costs are pretty funny - $680 to replace the brake shoes, $340 to repair leaks at the carb fuel line, etc. I hope no one actually paid these prices.

I always get a smile when I see my friend driving this one, his aunt bought it new. 409 powerglide.

Looks like a 5K redline on the tach but I'm not sure what a 425hp car would have had.

425 horse would have a 6 redline.
